Heal the past, and create the future of your dreams...
Faith believes in an holistic approach to living, where the wellbeing of the body, the mind, and the spirit are addressed in the healing process.
What is Innerfaith Therapy?
"Innerfaith" simply means finding faith within. Faith's philosophy of healing is based on her own healing process and her life experience. She believes the root of healing of any kind lies in accepting and believing in your whole self: body/mind/spirit. When you do, you are more aligned to make healthy choices and to understand that your experience is directly shaped by these choices. From this position of strength, you can heal the past and create the future of your dreams.
The phrase "Integrative Healing Arts" reflects Faith's philosophy that it is essential to explore all aspects of ourselves – physical, mental and emotional, and spiritual – and to integrate these aspects into a comprehensive wellness program.
"My diverse training in talk, touch, and movement therapies enables me to guide clients in weaving together all facets of their being, and tailor a unique program for their healing and personal growth."
The combination of life experience and professional training come into play in Faith's offering of a holistic and practical approach to wellbeing. As a teenager, she encountered physical, psychological, and emotional challenges. Her own healing process inspired her life's work and the development over more than twenty years of her unique, signature approach to aiding others.
Faith understands that every person's experience is unique, and so their healing process will be too. She works in partnership with you to develop a program that suits your unique needs. Together you will determine the pace and modalities that will give you the highest potential to find alignment of your body, mind, and spirit for optimum wellbeing.
"If a tree is planted, rooted, grounded deep in the earth, it has more resilience as the storms of life blow through, just like our emotional system when it reacts to life on life’s terms – terms, like the weather, that we cannot control. People come to see me to experience more peace, to gain confidence in their ability to be here, and to be here as fully functioning, healthy human beings.
Trees teach us that no matter what storms may come, there’s a way to develop resilience. And one of the ways we become resilient is to learn how to ground, how to be here on this earth – by working on the earth, by respecting the earth, by appreciating what the plant kingdom teaches us.
This has huge importance in being healthy, to take part in that reverence for nature and for how the earth provides us with the ability to gain resilience and tolerance. We can’t do that if we’re not aware of our bodies."
